What do you do when your investment portfolio — after just three years — starts making more money than the career you’ve spent your whole adult life building?

Who do you even talk to when this happens? Nobody I know has been through it. It’s a wild mix of excitement, disbelief, and, honestly, a little unsettling.

These gains aren’t just numbers on a screen. They’re changing how I see time, money and possibilities. And the truth is, no one around me really gets it. I’m navigating these feelings alone, in real time — as I type this.

Just this Wednesday, my net gain was $959.78, including $92.36 I recouped within my first blown account. The gains are growing, and I’m starting to realize I may have sold myself short.

I’ve earned more in a day, a week and a month than my job from trading stock options.

At the start of the year, one of my goals for 2025 was to generate $20,000 in profit from trading stock options. A year ago, that felt lofty. Today, it feels low.

In Q3 alone, I generated $5,200 in options income.

And I didn’t start — with my second account — until the final week of July.

Subtract $1,465.95 from equities sold; net options gain: $5,226.32.

I’m also up a combined $2,000 on two equity positions I added to my portfolio on July 17 and Aug. 19. The first is up 53 percent. The second shows a 203 percent unrealized gain.

And then there’s Bitcoin, which shot back to all-time highs — just after I converted.

This journey is quickly changing our fortunes.

And it’s my hope that you’re joining us for the ride — not just the stories.

A portion of all proceeds will go directly to my daughter Parker’s retirement account.
