Some lessons about money are really lessons about life.
In Episode 29, Parker and I sit down for another Money Talk about one of the oldest practices around: waiting.
Delayed gratification is something I’ve had to learn firsthand while fighting for something better. I’ve written about living through a season where everything costs more and about the waiting game that comes with pursuing the things that matter. Sometimes, progress requires patience and a willingness to keep going while you wait for things to come together.
It’s a lesson I’m teaching Parker at a young age, too.
We talk about patience, discipline, and learning to wait for what you really want. These are qualities that can serve her throughout life and become an important part of how she approaches money and investing.
In this episode, we explore what delayed gratification looks like, why waiting matters and how learning to wait can help us become better investors.
