“Awful” is often what growth feels like in real time. Walking was wobbly. Talking was awkward. Riding a bike meant scraping your knees. Watching Hims swing from up $7,200 to down $2,500 isn’t comfortable, but learning rarely is. I respect the simplicity of Vanguard's Total World Stock ETF, but this journey has been about expanding my knowledge, developing my risk tolerance and sharpening my skill set.
