The next chapter for Money Talks
From concept to connection, Money Talks Coaching is here.

When I opened applications for the free six-month coaching experience, I knew it would be meaningful.
What I didn’t fully expect was how much the process itself would shape me before the coaching even began.
Selection wrapped Sunday night, and participants were notified Monday morning.
And just like that, Money Talks Coaching moved from concept to connection.
These aren’t just calendar appointments or coaching sessions. They’re real partnerships with real people who trusted me to walk with them through one of the most personal parts of their lives: money.
Reading through the applications was humbling. Hope showed up everywhere. So did fear, exhaustion, determination and resilience.
People shared dreams of stability, of finally breathing again, of breaking cycles they’ve carried for years. Several talked about wanting clarity. Not necessarily more money, but more peace of mind.
And that’s what Money Talks is really about.
This work goes far beyond spreadsheets and strategies. Numbers matter, yes. But what people are really asking for is confidence, direction and the ability to sleep at night — without money being the last thought before bed and the first one in the morning.
I’m learning so much, and it’s surprising how much this experience is expanding my knowledge and approach.
Every story reinforces that personal finance is deeply connected to values, relationships and the quiet weight people have been carrying, often silently.
Being invited into that space is an honor I don’t take lightly.
Every application has sharpened how I think about supporting families in ways that are realistic and sustainable.
I’m exploring methods to help people find stability that truly fits their lives, not someone else’s version of “perfect.”
And that learning doesn’t stop with these six months. It’s shaping how I show up as a money coach moving forward.
As I prepare to begin these partnerships, I feel a deep sense of excitement and responsibility. This work matters. It’s personal. And it’s becoming clear that Money Talks Coaching isn’t just an idea anymore — it’s a service, a mission and something that’s here to stay.
I’ll share more stories along the way, because there’s power in seeing how others are navigating money with honesty and courage. If this free coaching round has taught me anything already, it’s that people are hungry for support that feels human, not judgmental or overwhelming.
And while this first group stepped in at no cost, I share this with transparency and gratitude: yesterday’s price is not today’s price. As Money Talks Coaching grows, so does the guidance and impact it provides to individuals and families seeking clarity and confidence with their money.
For now, I’m grateful. Grateful for trust, for stories shared and for the chance to help people move closer to peace and stability — one Money Talk at a time.

Money Talks turns 2!
Three weekends ago, my girls Parker and Tiffany whipped up some homemade chocolate chip cookies. As we gathered in the kitchen, a debate brewed — should we stick to our tried-and-true recipe, or venture into the unknown with a new one from Hershey's?
