Editor’s note: This one’s a little different — and a lot more personal. In my first exclusive column for paid subscribers, I’m pulling back the curtain on every dollar I invested in Q1, revealing key takeaways and lessons learned to help you navigate your own financial journey.

Become a paid subscriber today to ensure you never miss valuable insights and exclusive content. Plus, a portion of all proceeds will go directly to my daughter Parker's retirement account. Thank you for your support on this journey!

I thought long and hard before doing this.

Sharing my portfolio feels like letting you audit my past three months. Every dollar I invested in Q1 is laid bare, exposing not just my financial choices but also my hopes and investing acumen. Putting real numbers and personal moves out there isn’t easy, especially given the volatile market we faced.

There were moments of triumph — investments that soared beyond expectations — but also a few missteps that had me second-guessing my strategy. It was a rollercoaster of decisions, each one teaching me something new about risk, reward and resilience.

Staying honest with myself is crucial. Each decision, whether a win or a setback, becomes a lesson in this journey. It’s about showing Parker how we’re building our future brick by brick, understanding that every experience contributes to our growth.

It took time for me to feel comfortable sharing this. Being this open comes with its risks. But here’s my complete playbook of Q1 investments: the moves I made, the lessons I learned and the insights you can apply to your own financial journey.
