It’s one of the major drawbacks to city living, more chances for drunk drivers and the recklessness they spread during their wrath. I hate that feeling of helplessness and frustration, especially when you were just minding your business. Be proud of yourself for how you handled and are handling this situation.

Your Elderly Mother is so proud of how you handled yet another “bump in the road” - Integrity always wins! I’m so thankful that there were no personal bodily injuries So pleased that you have supportive neighbors. And thank you for looking out for your Lady!!

What doesn’t break you makes you stronger!

Even if you have good insurance and the savings to cover repairs, the time piece always gets me. It takes so much time and energy to fix these inconveniences of life. It is such a skill to keep calm and have a good outlook through it all.

Absolutely right, Taylor. It’s all one big hassle. Looks like I’ll be dealing with it for the next few weeks. However, I believe that it’s because I have the resources to handle this unexpected incident that I’m able to stay level-headed about it. My perspective, has evolved, which has trickled down to my reaction. I’m grateful.

Total crap dude. Sorry that happened to you. Don't know if it will matter, but you should consider filing a complaint about the cops who came if you got their badge. I suppose that's just extra work for you in the end without much to show for it, but I would be so pissed off. You handled yourself well
